For the 31 days in January, the SFC is going to bring to light to 31 different tax and fee increases approved by Village Board and Mayor Al Larson of Schaumburg in 2008. By the end of the year we will have highlighted all 369 tax and fee increases.

…or are our elected officials trying hoodwink the public into thinking that expensive business licenses, cable franchise fees, and unnecessarily expensive permits are really not taxes but just fees?
