I couldn't agree with you more!

I attended a "Coffee with the Council. When I had the opportunity to speak, I stood up and

expressed your views verbatim.

Then I was publicly insulted. One of the trustees said, "I see we have someone here that doesn't know public improvements when he see's them". I replied, "I do know spending without reson". Then I just sat down and began to think that these Officials were a bit too comfortable and arrogant. This is when I began taking our local politics seriously.

I found Brian Costin's SFC website. Since then I've been trying to help him clean out the Ivory Tower of yes-men, starting from the top. Despite my physical disability, I'm trying to promote his campaign vocally when I sit in local Doctors offices. I like Brian's philosophy and have yet been told he's wrong. Everyone I speak to agrees that it is time to change the guard... stating from the top.

I've never met a more honest, intelligent, straight shooter in my life. I will do what I'm able to do to help and have been talking him up for over a year. Not one person of the hundreds of people that I've spoken to disagrees. They seem to be excited for a change for the better. Strangely when I bring up Schaumburg politics, most listen and tell me about their misdealing's.

It's time for change...

In addition to getting rid of King Larson and his minions, it is a good idea (once elected) to stop wasting taxpayer money on such ridiculous things as cobblestone corners and benches for (nonexistant) pedestrians. It seems that every other vehicle on Schaumburg's roads belong to the Village too - it would be a good idea to take a good, hard look at the equipment the Village owns - seems like a lot to me. I can live without "landscaping" in the middle of some of our streets, too.
Although Schaumburg is a nice place to live and raise children, I think we have gone "overboard".
Larson and his trustees MUST GO!

"I have been here since 1973 and, until tonight, thought this was a pretty good place, and that we had ethical and “responsible” people in charge."

People haven't seen these taxes and other establishments as threats or problems, so why make them into conflicts? Your campaign is just like any other politician's. When municipal government becomes as hyped as federal, then your ticket will mean more.

Brian,
I need some lawn signs with a picture of your honest face and your intentions to be running for mayor. I know it's a year away
but lets get people used to hearing and seeing your name.
I'll pay for a half a dozen(or more) lawn signs and pepper my block with them. I wish I could describe other residents euphoria when I tell them someone is running against Larson in 2011.
You're a breath of fresh air and my lawn needs another sign to go in tandem with my Schaumburg Freedom Coalition signage. It's not too soon to get your name known to the voter in our village.

Brian, until tonight, I had no idea who you were. I imagine that is the norm around here (Schaumburg). I have been here since 1973 and, until tonight, thought this was a pretty good place, and that we had ethical and "responsible" people in charge.

Wow!! Was I wrong, or what?

Thanks for opening my eyes. Now, we need to get your name and ideas out there, so let's get some flyers printed and distributed. I utilize the services of a company that will distribute (pre-printed) flyers for 1 cents a piece. Let's talk!!
